Tutka is a development project intended for micro and small and medium-sized enterprises, whose objective is to cooperate with a university of applied sciences, development companies, and enterprises to create an approach that could be used to identify and utilize the growth opportunities for SMEs by developing concrete and detailed solutions through the methods of service design and futurology.
In the Tutka development service, enterprises receive concrete tools for re-evaluating their business operations, identifying future customer and market needs, understanding and applying new business concepts, increasing awareness of a customer-oriented approach and its tools, and bridging gaps in competence through new learning and partnerships. The project is carried out as cooperation between Laurea University of Applied Sciences and three development companies operating in the Uusimaa region: Posintra (Eastern Uusimaa), Keuke (Central Uusimaa), and Novagon (Western Uusimaa).
The European Regional Development Fund ERDF is the main source of funding for the Tutka project. The project duration is September 1, 2018 – December 31, 2020.
