In busier times you do not have time for planning and development. Each sector has its peak seasons as well as quieter periods. You should be able to recognize these times and reserve time for planning during quiet times. Good planning will also help you fill in the off-season and even out the rush at peak times.
Carry a notepad into which you can write down deficiencies and subjects for development. Even if you don't have the time to focus on the issues right now, at least you have recorded them for when you do.
Summer and the summer holidays can play havoc with a company's coffers – depending on the sector, of course. Before the holidays you should go through your receivables and send payment reminders where necessary. Otherwise you may find that your sales invoices are still making the rounds while purchase invoices are due as you return from your holidays.
Your ledger should be otherwise kept up to date as well. Above all, the timely circulation of invoices is in the interest of your company. Thus, you should make it a habit to check your receivables each week and send reminders for unpaid invoices that have become due.Do not hesitate to contact us and book a free appointment!
