The Finnish government has already stated that it will only accept e-invoices from the beginning of April. An invoice delivered as a PDF or sent by email is not considered an e-invoice. Only e-invoices produced in compliance with the European e-invoice standard are acceptable.
If your company is not yet sending and receiving e-invoices, you should discuss the matter with your accounting firm and bank. Many accounting firms offer their customers a shared financial management system that can be used to manage the company’s accounts in an electronic format. Banks also offer electronic invoicing services on their platforms.
Transferring to electronic invoicing and accounting also increases the speed of monetary transactions and saves time in companies.
