Building equals appeal

A total of 2 505 new homes or flats were built in the Keuke area in 2019. The number of completed homes per 1 000 occupants was 12,81. The corresponding number for the whole country is 7,61.

– The building of new flats is one of the most common indicators of an area’s appeal. The more homes are built, the more life and attraction the area will have, states Keuke’s managing director Elina Pekkarinen. 

– In the light of these numbers, the area of Keski-Uusimaa is doing great.

In terms of building, the leader was Nurmijärvi where 832 new flats were built in 2019. The corresponding number for Kerava was 667, and 504 for Järvenpää.
