Central Uusimaa Business Development Centre Keuke is a member of the working group of the event Mun tulevaisuus (My Future), which was awarded the 2024 Central Uusimaa YES Agent – Entrepreneurship Education Developer recognition. The award was presented in Turku on 13 November at the seminar Elinvoimaa yrittäjämäisellä osaamisella. 

Mun tulevaisuus is an annual event that offers 9th graders in Kerava a chance to explore various career paths and think about their future choices. The event brings together young people, business representatives and education providers, and encourages young people to plan their professional future before the spring joint application. Now organized for the third time, the event will take place on 22 November 2024 in Kerava.

The working group of the event consists of representatives from the Central Uusimaa region, including the City of Kerava, Keravan Yrittäjät, Keski-Uusimaa Joint Municipal Authority for Education and Training Keuda and Central Uusimaa Business Development Centre Keuke. Keuke’s Service Coordinator Tytti Viinanen is involved in planning and organizing the event. 

“I have helped plan and organize Mun tulevaisuus all three years, and it’s been wonderful to see how the event has grown and developed. This award is a great recognition for our long-term cooperation to support young people as they make choices about their future, while also strengthening the vitality of Central Uusimaa,” says Service Coordinator Tytti Viinanen from Keuke. 

The YES Agent recognition is awarded to an individual, a team or organization that promotes entrepreneurship education and an entrepreneurial culture. The working group behind Mun tulevaisuus received the award in particular for the close cooperation between different actors and for creating an impressive and inclusive event concept. In addition, the work done by the working group has been exemplary, also attracting interest from other municipalities.

Keuke is committed to strengthening the vitality of the Central Uusimaa region by developing dialogue between young people and working life. Mun tulevaisuus is an excellent example of this. The event brings together partners in business and education to work towards a common goal – creating better opportunities for young people to build their future. 

The event will continue to serve as a platform that helps young people discover their strengths and makes entrepreneurship education in Central Uusimaa visible and concrete. Thanks are due to all the current and past members of the event’s working group who have worked persistently to make the event a success.
