One in five customers seeks services from the Central Uusimaa Business Development Centre (Keuke) on the recommendation of a fellow entrepreneur or friend. This figure has grown considerably from the previous year, when 11% of customers said they came to Keuke on the recommendation of a colleague. This was revealed by Keuke’s customer satisfaction survey.
Customers come to Keuke from many different sources: through digital channels, on the recommendation of a municipality or following guidance from an authority or a bank. Almost half (45%) of the customers knew Keuke from before.
“Last year, the share of old customers in the survey was significantly higher, 57%. Over the past year, more and more entrepreneurs and businesses have discovered Keuke’s services for the first time, and the number of new customers has increased,” says Elina Pekkarinen, CEO at Keuke.
“The recommendation of a fellow entrepreneur is the most valuable measure of satisfaction. It shows that the person recommending us has received such good service from us that they have actively shared their experience with others.”
In the survey, 95% of respondents said they would be willing to recommend Keuke to other businesses.
Keuke was turned to most often for advice on marketing (40%) and on sales and customer acquisition (29%). Competence development (25%) and financial matters (25%) were also high on the list.
“The digitalization of commerce creates more opportunities for businesses, but at the same time, competition is getting tougher. Companies must not only be able to stand out in the market, but also focus more effort on getting to know their customers, their target group,” says Elina Pekkarinen.
The most satisfied companies among Keuke’s customers were the ones with a clear will and drive to grow their business.
“High-growth companies know what they need advice and sparring on. They also have realistic expectations of the advisory services and understand the importance of their own input.”
In the customer satisfaction survey, 75% of respondents said they received more help than they expected. 91% of respondents said they received help with exactly the things they were looking for.
Keuke’s customer satisfaction survey was conducted online and was answered by 170 representatives of businesses who had used Keuke’s services over the past year.
