In 2024, Keuke helped nine companies in the Central Uusimaa region to develop their sustainability work with the Balanssi growth service.

Development plans were prepared for the companies to improve their sustainability performance, for example by reducing their carbon footprint. 

The participating companies have been enthusiastically involved in the development work, and considering sustainability is indeed crucial for maintaining competitiveness. 

The companies participating in the service have increased their understanding of sustainability and developed their reporting practices, energy efficiency, carbon footprint management and circular economy business models. 

In addition to environmental sustainability, the social and economic dimensions of sustainability have also been examined and developed. 

Legislative requirements and customer expectations for sustainability are increasing constantly, which is also challenging SMEs to develop their business.
