The latest customer satisfaction survey conducted by the Central Uusimaa Business Development Centre (Keuke) delivers a clear message: entrepreneurs are seeking more and more support for developing their business competence. This year, as many as 38% of the companies that responded to the survey had sought advice from Keuke on strengthening their own or their employees’ competence. This is a significant increase from last year when the corresponding figure was 25%.

Marketing (39%) and sales (25%) are still the most common areas with which companies need sparring, but the key change in the survey is the shift in focus towards the long-term development of competence and competitiveness.

The need for networking and finding partners also grew substantially, from 14% last year to 20% this year.

“The everyday life of entrepreneurs and the operating environments of companies are changing rapidly, and at the same time, their competence needs are growing. We are now being approached and asked for support particularly in how companies can develop through competence – and we strive to provide a quick and practical response to these needs,” says Elina Pekkarinen, CEO of Keuke.

“Entrepreneurs are especially hoping to improve their digital skills, practical leadership skills, and the management of responsibility-related requirements – things that directly affect companies’ ability to keep up with the competition.”

Development is a continuous process for many

The survey reveals an even stronger trust in Keuke. This year, 51% of customers said they knew Keuke from before, and 13% came on the recommendation of another entrepreneur.

The increase in these percentages confirms that people not only find their way to Keuke, but they also return and recommend it to others.

Advice is considered very useful

The effectiveness of Keuke’s advice remains at an exceptional level:

• 96% received help with exactly the things they were looking for
• 95% found the advice useful for developing their business
• 93% said the advice reinforced their own plans
• 82% took concrete action as a result of the advice

In addition, 64% of respondents said that their project was completed faster with Keuke’s help. 

Top-notch customer service – and willingness to recommend continues to rise

The work of Keuke’s experts received excellent grades:

• Expertise 9.3
• Promptness 9.3
• Willingness to serve 9.6

It is particularly noteworthy that 81% of respondents felt they had received more help than they had expected.

This trust is also reflected in recommendations: 96% of respondents would be willing to recommend Keuke’s services to other businesses. This figure is even higher than last year (95%), which shows the strong commitment and satisfaction of customers.
