CENTRAL UUSIMAA GROWTH PATH: LOXUS 3D TUNNELINSPECTIONS OY DECLARED THE WINNER

Loxus 3D Tunnelinspections Oy from Tuusula was chosen as the winner of the Central Uusimaa Growth Path. Kelosound Oy from Helsinki received an honorable mention.

The panel of judges evaluated the companies participating in the Growth Path using the following criteria: business idea, current turnover, believable story, and business operations at the concept level. According to the judges’ comments, the winner of the competition needed to have a viable business and hunger for growth.

The panel of judges was impressed by the unique technology of Loxus 3D Tunnelinspections Oy. The company is a market leader in its field in Europe and has solid future prospects. Loxus 3D Tunnelinspections Oy examines, inspects, and produces high-resolution point cloud materials and video image of tunnels filled with water regardless of visibility. The company’s clients include industrial operators: hydroelectric plants, water supply facilities, and energy utilities.

According to the judges, the commendation recipient Kelosound has genuine international potential and a well-built team. The entrepreneur has determination, a hunger for growth, and the willingness to take risks. They have a proper “all or nothing” attitude! Kelosound Oy produces phenomenal sound, design, and wellness products and sound systems.

The companies will progress to the national final that includes the 100 best growth companies in Finland. The best Startup and Start Again companies will be selected from the finalists in the national Kasvu Open Karnevaali. The event is held in Jyväskylä, October 23–24, 2019.

Pakkauspojat Oy, JS Sound Group Oy and Ekothermotalot Oy from Klaukkala, Gaming Lounge Helsinki Finland Oy, Quickies Empire Oy from Helsinki, Instman Oy form Tuusula, Health Connector Group HCG Oy from Helsinki, ERGObrass Oy from Sipoo, Moiski Oy from Lepsämä, Apropos lingua from Kerava, Karkkilan Metallityö Oy from Karkkila, Witreeni Oy form Nurmijärvi, and Vihersisustus Luwasa Oy from Hyvinkää also took part in the free Kasvupolku sparring.

The panel of judges included Elina Pekkarinen (KEUKE), Petri Graeffe (Uudenmaan yrittäjät), Ari Tulensalo (Helsinki Region Chamber of Commerce), Minna Helenius (Uusimaa Employment and Economic Development Office), Vesa Salmela (Alupro Oy), and Juha Ryhänen (Integround Oy).
